2. “Au(c)tor. A Poem on the Asymptote”, 2023, printed on 20 A4 sheets.
The poem is a metaphorical parable of the artist’s inner journey, in which he confronts dark beings in order to find a treasure. Based on familiar dramatic strategies, this story leads the reader through the diverse structure of human fears and passions. The figures encountered along the way are archetypes personifying human states of mind, memories and dreams, which suppress, inhibit, beguile, enslave and correct Auktor’s actions. Within this spatial topography, Auktor is alone. He descends into the deepest darkness of himself to obtain the tools that will allow him to transcend his limitations. This entire process is an unending asymptote whose meaning lies in the very persistence of an eternal “being in relation to”.
